COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT THROUGH CREATIVITY

In 2022, I returned to my art practice as a form of self-discovery, after experiencing a significant period of high stress and meeting constant expectations in a competitive and absorbing career.

Art and Textiles, my 'original trade' have always been second nature to me, for many arts is a personal outlet for reflection, expression, and emotional release.

But what began as a personal reconnection quickly evolved into something greater.

In 2024, I expanded this passion into the field of arts and textiles education, and was deeply moved by how powerfully art impacted students.

I saw firsthand how creative practice not only helps young people disconnect from daily stress, but also fosters a sense of connection, confidence, and joy—a natural outlet for self-expression and social engagement.

MY MISSION

Today, I offer inclusive art workshops across community centres and private spaces, for diverse ages and abilities.

From term-based programs to one-off creative experiences, I specialise in using art for mental health, not only as a tool for learning new mediums but also, connection, and discovery.

Student cohort is considered where each workshop can customise a point of difference. My goal is always to create a safe, welcoming space where participants can explore, connect, and recharge through creativity.

Let’s make art more than a product—let’s make it a practice for wellbeing and community.
