We had the pleasure of working with Julia at the Bay View Community Centre, where she delivered watercolour classes and an introductory course on art mediums for children. She is not only talented and knowledgeable, but also personable and connects easily with all age groups. We received great feedback from both participants and parents.

Feedback is always welcome and plays an important role in refining and enhancing future workshops.

My practice is grounded in contemporary drawing and painting, with a particular focus on watercolour pencil and tonal abstraction. I explore the balance between control and fluidity, combining structured layering techniques with intuitive mark-making to create depth, softness and visual rhythm.
Alongside my studio work, I am deeply engaged in art education, translating my process into clear, structured methods that support skill development and creative confidence. This dual focus allows me to bridge professional studio practice with teaching, offering students practical techniques that are both accessible and refined.
Through both my artwork and workshops, my aim is to make art feel considered, calm and achievable, while maintaining a strong foundation in technical skill and visual understanding.
Online watercolour pencil courses are currently in development and are expected to launch in August 2026. Following the completion of my graduate studies, I will be focusing on finalising course recordings to ensure a high-quality, structured learning experience.
In the meantime, you can join the waitlist to receive early access, course updates and exclusive invitations to live online workshops.
